His legal acumen, honed through years of managing intricate legal matters, ensures that every client receives personalized solutions tailored to their unique needs.

After practicing law in Arizona from 2017 to 2024, Troy returned to his hometown of Colorado Springs to serve the community he loves. His journey into probate and estate planning began with a deeply personal experience when he volunteered to administer an estate after an unexpected family tragedy. This firsthand encounter with the complexities of estate administration inspired Troy to dedicate his practice to helping families navigate probate with compassion and efficiency.

Troy’s journey to the legal profession began with an undergraduate degree in International Relations, a rigorous program emphasizing writing, critical thinking, and statistical analysis. He complemented his studies with a minor in Writing and Rhetoric, further honing his analytical and communication skills—skills that now underpin his effectiveness in crafting strategic estate plans and resolving probate disputes.

Troy earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 2017, where he distinguished himself as a passionate advocate for justice. His law school tenure was marked by success in national moot court competitions, including the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. Troy also served as Senior Articles Editor for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law, where he published a legal note addressing the evolving challenges of international law in cyberspace.

As a seasoned courtroom attorney with more than a thousand cases under his belt Troy combines his legal expertise with a client-centered approach to provide comprehensive estate planning services, simplify estate administration, and resolve probate disputes. His ability to manage legally intricate and emotionally sensitive matters makes him an invaluable advocate for families seeking guidance in protecting their assets and legacies. And when those cases find themselves in Court, Troy has the background and skill set to obtain excellent litigation outcomes for his clients.

A proud Coloradan, Troy enjoys hiking, camping, and snowboarding in his free time. He married his wife at Garden of the Gods and celebrated their wedding reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo—two quintessential Colorado landmarks that reflect his deep connection to the state. Now back in Colorado Springs, Troy is thrilled to combine his passion for law with his dedication to serving his community at Peakstone Law Group.
