A Colorado native, Damen graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor and licensed to practice in the community he grew up in. As an editor for the Denver Law Review, Damen developed highly skilled legal writing techniques and an enate attention to detail and legal analysis. Throughout his time at the University of Denver, Damen gained valuable knowledge in trust and estates, trial practice, and courtroom experience through a semester in practice at the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. Following his admittance to the bar, Damen gained advocacy skills as a Public Defender litigating in the courtrooms of El Paso County.

His legal journey brought him back to the probate and estate planning area where he devoted his knowledge and skills to seek meaningful and strategic planning for families and individuals at all stages of life. Damen has developed his practice centered around guiding fiduciaries through their legal duties, helping beneficiaries navigate the complex legal processes of probate administration, and resolving disputes during administration to protect client’s interests.
